The Oxford International School (OIS) Department of Student Services (SSD) was created with the aim of providing various services and programs aimed at developing the emotional, social, cognitive, affective skills of students and of the entire OIS community.

Each member of the team seeks through active and empathetic interaction to create preventive, reinforcement and professional orientation programs that contribute to the integral and personal development of the students. With psycho-pedagogical strategies created by Psychologists, Coach, Special Educator, counselor, who work as a team, they generate a healthy atmosphere within a diverse educational and cultural environment.

OXFORD INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (OIS) CLUBS

MATH CLUB

Our club aims to awaken interest in the study of mathematics and expand knowledge, abilities and skills in this subject, which is basic for the development of different careers and technical trades. It also encourages student participation in math fairs and olympics.

ECO CLUB

The fundamental mission of the students that make up the Ecology Club is to contribute to the environmental protection and conservation of the natural resources of our country and the world, through the development of ecological projects within and outside our school community.

DEBATE CLUB

Our debate club has as its main objective the exchange of ideas and opinions among our young people and students from other schools nationally and internationally.

We have participated in international debates such as: NHI debate in the United States; British English Olympics Masters (BEO MASTERS); national debates: Model Organization of American States CEP MOAS, among others.

STUCO (Student Council)

The student association STUCO, better known as Student Council, is an institutional body made up of a group of students, democratically elected by the students who make up the house of study and supervised by teachers and directors of the same center.
STUCO, fosters student welfare, protection of the duties and rights of students and academic excellence. It promotes and defends universal, human, family, sociocultural, moral and ethical values.

It gives students the opportunity to develop leadership skills, as part of their education and life; through a participatory environment and exchange of ideas within the student community.

It helps to share the ideas, interest, needs, and concern of students for the school community. Thus, they are brought before the teachers and the school authorities, so that they can be attended to as much as possible.

It carries out, participates and supports school, sports, artistic, cultural, technological, entertainment and social events, and community service projects.

Our club’s mission is to strengthen the collective power of the OIS by developing committed and inspired student leaders to drive change.

It is an institutional body made up of a group of students, democratically elected by the students who make up the study house and supervised by professors and managers from the same center. STUCO, monitors the student welfare, the protection of the duties and rights of students and academic excellence. Promote and defend universal, human, family, sociocultural, moral, ethical values, etc.
