Welcome Letter Middle School

Dear Middle School Students and Parents

A true teacher would never tell you what to do. But he would give you the knowledge with which you could decide what would be best for you to do.”
Christopher Pike, Sati

Welcome to 2020 school year!

We know that a positive learning environment is built on the engaged and constant assertive communication between Parents, Teachers/School Staff and Students and we will be glad to welcome you. Please joined us in building that safe space for an assertive learning environment. We encourage you to contact us if/when the need arises, and to interact with RenWeb, our communication platform to stay in touch with your child’s studies, assignments, assessments, and school activities, as well as other events and happenings.

Due to the worldwide emergency generated by the Covid-19, our instructional process has been transferred to the Microsoft 365 Platform and the Team Application, where our students interact with their Synchronous and Asynchronous classes, without interrupting the learning process.

We will be cultivating in our Middle School Students the development of Soft Skill, which are necessary to sow during their pre-teen ages and beyond.

Skills like Creative Thinking and Problem Solving, which helps them to create with out of the box solutions in different scenarios.

Written Communication and Public Speaking, will give our students the ability to put their ideas and arguments across in an assertive way that does not offend anyone. Communication skills include listening, speaking and writing.

Again, we welcome you to OIS Middle School and to our wonderful learning community. Our school is a place alive with much energy, enthusiasm, and a high standard of excellence! It is, indeed, a place where opportunities abound! Here’s an AWESOME new school year as we work together to make our school a great place to work and learn each day!
